SwanSong Films was formed in 2005 in order to produce original, creative and engaging Irish productions.
NIAMH HEERY is an Irish filmmaker working in documentary and fiction. Her documentary work has won the Radharc Award, Moondance and the ICCL Human Rights Film Award while fiction pieces have won the RTÉ/Galway Film Centre Short Film Award and has screened and won at international festivals. Niamh has received two Irish Film Board commissions as writer, director and producer and was nominated for the ADIFF Discovery Award in 2016. She was recently Additional Director on the acclaimed documentary series John Connors: The Travellers for RTÉ television. Niamh produces and directs work for organisations such as the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, UNICEF and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission. She also facilitates community and educational projects with the Galway Film Centre. She is is a graduate of the Huston School of Film and IADT.
ERIC DOLAN is a 3D Visual Effects Artist, Animator and Producer. He graduated from DIT with an MA in Digital Media Technologies in 2010 and since then has worked on Irish and International broadcast, feature and commercial projects with Ireland’s top post production companies such as Windmill Lane Pictures, Piranha Bar and Outer Limits. Eric has produced a number of projects for SwanSong Films and recently produced the RTE/Galway Film Centre Film Our Unfenced Country and Irish Film Board funded short film Displaced.
