Displaced wins the 2016 Short Radharc Award

Adding to the Moondance International Film Festival award, Niamh Heery’s short documentary ‘Displaced‘ has won the 2016 Radharc Award for short film. The award is given out once every two years to films that carry on the spirit of the long running RTE documentary series which focussed on issues of social justice around the world.

Veteran broadcaster Olivia O’Leary presented Niamh with the award in the ceremony on 20 October. This is the second time a film of Niamh’s has won the award, her short documentary Harmanli: Trapped on the Fringe of Freedom won it in 2014.
