Niamh has worked with youth and community film-making projects since 2010. A committed facilitator and tutor, she works with schools, youth groups, rural and urban community projects to help them create work that gives them a voice. Over the years she has worked with organisations such as SpunOut, Foróige, UNESCO Child & Family Research Centre, NUI Galway, JK Rowling’s Lumos and the Galway Film Centre. In 2018 she worked on a long-form multimedia collaboration with Orla Ryan of the Journal.ie and Mary Raftery Journalism Fund which investigated the link between marginalised refugees and asylum seekers and radical extremism.
